eal76 asked: I’ve been making fresh ginger tea and sweeting it with organic sugar. I recently decided to buy some locally made honey to sweeten it instead. I know that honey is high in calories, but I had a feeling that it would be healthier than the sugar. Am I right? I know that honey is an antiseptic, but what are the actual health benefits? Did I make the right choice by switching? The local honey is much more expensive than the sugar.

itsjustme asked: My mother, my youngest daughter and I all suffer from the same problem. Each month during our cycle, we vomit, pass out, have very painful cramping and heavy flow. We are told there is nothing that can be done and we just need to try to alleviate the symptoms. We have tried Raspberry leaf teas, Ginger Ale, prescription Motrin, etc but nothing seems to help. This causes missed days from work and school not to mention the suffering.
Anyone else out there have any advice?

LESLEY D asked: okay I know that this question is out of season but its part of my DT course-work so sensible , honest answers pleaze.
My topic is how Christams can affect our diet and health and my objective is to come up with a low fat alternative to turkey and all the trimming?
My menu.
Turkey casserole.
upsidedown cake./ basic victoria sponge.
ginger bread men.
lemon iced tea and ginger ale.
Now would you want to swap your Christmas dinner for that.??
Or do you say blow the diet give us the turkey.
