ILoveMyBabyPrincess asked: Last night and today I cooked some stirfry with raw ginger. Then I heard somewhere large amounts of raw ginger root which is what I used can make you miscarry or have a stillbirth. I am 26 weeks today. Is this true? Did you ever eat ginger root while pregnant?

farah asked: I’ve been trying to find an Asian grocery store that carries the fragrant ginger bud/torch ginger/”bunga kantan” to use in some Malaysian cooking. I looked at the Uwajimaya stores in Seattle and bellevue, but couldn’t find them. Are there any stores that carries these flowers? There really isn’t any good substitute for them.
